FEMALE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
(Serving Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Stewart, Trousdale, Wilson, & Williamson counties)

TRAC’s program is staffed with counselors who directly supervise the residents and implement the daily therapeutic program.  TRAC offers each resident a new opportunity through a productive educational plan, daily life skills, clinical services, spiritual guidance, and volunteer and job opportunity. Utilizing a behavior modification system, rules, choices and consequences assist in reducing or eliminating poor choices and negative behavior.

Our female residential group home offers a home like environment with a family-like setting where the girls can be protected from further abuse and/or neglect while learning skills to help enrich their future. In the current program, residents spend an average of 9-12 months at TRAC in order to deal intensely with all of the past and current issues and ease the youth’s adjustment into the restored family or most appropriate placement and back to the community. We offer an array of services within the residential program utilizing a unique choice and consequence approach to learning the responsibilities of life skills and succeeding in them.

In keeping with this philosophy, the TRAC program encourages the entire family to participate in our treatment program in order to help all members gain an understanding of healthy and unhealthy components of their family system.  In addition, TRAC provides several services as tools that can be utilized in helping resolve their issues, which include:

  • Individual, group and family counseling
  • Productive education planning
  • Psychiatric services, if needed
  • Dealing with alcohol/chemical dependency, and addictions through education & support
